Solar Power Today: Costs, Paybacks, Incentives, and Batteries

Solar power is experiencing phenomenal growth and changes.  What you knew about solar (costs, paybacks, strategies) from a few years ago needs to be updated.  Scott will provide the updated basics on solar power that will include project costs, expected paybacks, utility rate structures, inclusion of batteries, roof replacement considerations, the truth about the investment tax credit (ITC), and how to incorporate depreciation.

Scott Jones has been working in the Utah solar industry with Creative Energies for over 12 years.  Scott also sits on the Board for the Utah Solar Energy Association (USEA).  Scott has experienced the ups and down of changing federal and state laws and programs.  Scott has significant experience with solar and storage projects in both the commercial and residential sectors.
